Final Instructions - Portland - Round 2 E-Bee All Stars National Championship

Venue is accessible from 12:00 on Friday 29th May 

Camping will be £25.00 cash for the weekend  

Signing on will be opening from 13:00hrs on Friday and 7.00am on Saturday morning 

Practice is 14:00 – 18:00hrs £35.00 pay on the day

Our team is available throughout the event. If you have any questions, please feel free to speak to us — we want you and the riders to have a fantastic time. 

  • Signing on will open from 1.00pm until 6.00pm on Friday and from 7.00am Saturday morning 

 

GENERAL INFORMATION 

Help Us Keep the Venue Safe & Tidy 

  • Please take all litter home with you 
  • Drive responsibly when entering and leaving the venue — small children may be playing 
  • Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead 
  • Please clean up after your dog to keep the area safe for everyone 

 

EVENT UPDATES 

  • We will be using a private Whats App channel to send out all information as normal – the code will be available at the signing on tent and on the front cover of your program 

 

NORA LICENCES 

  • Please ensure you bring your NORA licence with you, as it will need to be shown at signon. Having it ready will help the process run smoothly. 

 

TRANSPONDERS 

  • To hire a Transponder will require a £10 CASH hire fee unless you have paid for hire online with your entry – please check. 
  • A £50 CASH Deposit is required for each transponder that is hired. 
  • If you have your own transponder, please bring this to signing on to ensure that we have the correct number. 

 

PRACTICE FRIDAY AFTERNOON 

  • We will be holding a practice session as normal on Friday from 2.00 to 6.00 PM 

This will operate as a pay as you go system and will be £35.00 per rider.  Please ensure that you sign on and obtain a wristband from the EXGB Hub – riders will not be allowed out to practice unless they have a wristband 


RIDER INFORMATION 

  • All parents are required to sign on the rider at the EXGB Hub which will be open from Friday afternoon. 
  • Riders Briefing will be at 8.45am on Saturday morning –  PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU ATTEND – ONE RIDER, ONE PARENT. 
  • Long hair has to be tied up and inside the helmet. 
  • All riders must wear googles and gloves these can be purchased from the signing on gazebo 
  • No riding in the pits –  please ensure your child is made aware 
  • Rider Numbers – please ensure that these are clearly displayed on the bike. 
  • All bikes must have chain guards 
  • Make sure your batteries are fully charged there are no charging facilities on site 

 

TRACKSIDE/START 

  • If you wish to go trackside you will need to sign on at the EXGB Hub and collect a wristband – you must be over 18. 
  • 1 Adult per rider 
  • Hi-Viz must be worn at all times whilst on the track, these can be purchased at signing on for £5.00. 
  • NO phones or cameras are allowed trackside,  
  • Adults must stand back from riders on the start gate.  If an adult pushes a rider off the start, the race will be red flagged and restarted. 
  • Adults’ trackside must stay in a safe place and not run around the track as it obstructs the other riders. 
  • A fallen rider will need to mount and pull away themselves – parents/marshals can pick up a bike and hold it for the rider
