2025 EXGB Classes Revealed – New E1 & E2 classes added – Grassroots Dirtbike Racing for 4-8 year olds.

Classes for the 2025 EXGB Electric X events for little racers between the ages of 4 and 8 have been released, with a new grassroots E1 class added to the list.

EXGB have introduced 100’s of Children to Dirtbike racing over the past few years, following on from their massive success in creating the Revvi Cup through their sister organisation, the “Steel Hawk Motorcycle Club.” Their passion for the sport, the friendly atmosphere, and the accessibility of their events have seen them grow remarkably, with record numbers attending their events in 2025.

The tracks at the events are created specifically for young riders, and the race weekends are planned so that racers and their families can enjoy their weekends both on and off the track.

The E1 class accommodates the Oset 12.5 bike and the RFN Warrior range of machines, as well as other lower-budget and powered options with motors up to 700w.

EXGB’s Paul Oughton said of the addition of the E1 category, “We are super passionate about introducing new young riders into the world of Dirtbike racing, and the New E1 class gives little riders a chance to gain their confidence on a lower-powered machine while also allowing parents a lower-priced option for them to try the sport out before they move up the classes.

In addition to the E1 class, there is a new separate E2 class for KTM and sister brand E2 machines and the Torrot MX1 bike.

These two classes join the popular Mini E Class for Torrot MX2, Oset MX10, Stomp E-Box, and other bikes with up to 1600w motors and 12′ front and 10″ rear wheels.

Next up are the Auto E3 and E5 classes for the KTM and its other branded machines of the same name, with the new Sur-Ron Hyper Bee in the E5 class.

The first EXGB event of 2025 is the British Indoor EX Championship, which takes place at the Wheeldon Off-Road Centre in Devon on the 10th and 11th of May. It is part of a Triple Crown series that incorporates a Sprint Cup and a Mini Motocross. Entries for the Indoor Championship will open soon.
