Excitement is building for the 2024 EXGB & Revvi Showdown which takes place at the Wheeldon Off-Road Centre in Devon on the 16th to the 17th November so here are the Final Instructions.
PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS AS IT WILL ANSWER MANY OF THE QUESTIONS YOU WILL HAVE ABOUT YOUR RACE DAY

Please note, these are family friendly events. If you are a win at all cost parent these events are not for you. Please mind your language and your behaviour around the little riders and their siblings.
RIDER INFORMATION
- Riders Briefing will be at 8.20am, PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU ATTEND – ONE RIDER, ONE PARENT.
- Long hair has to be tied up and inside the helmet.
- Gloves – all riders must wear gloves – this can be purchased from the signing on gazebo
- No riding outside the Arena, points will be deducted.
- All bikes must have chain guards
- Make sure your batteries are fully charged there are no charging facilities on site
- Maximum size of a motor in the 12” class is 170KW and 16” is 250W. Only Revvi batteries are allowed – spot checks will be taking place over the weekend
TRACKSIDE/START
If you wish to go trackside you will need to sign on at signing on and collect a wristband – you must be over 18.
Hi-Viz must be worn at all times whilst on the track, these can be purchased at signing on for £5.00.
NO phones or cameras are allowed trackside, there will be a 3 strikes and you will be asked to leave trackside.
Adults must stand back from riders on the start gate. If an adult pushes a rider off the start, the race will be red flagged and restarted.
Adults’ trackside must stay in a safe place and not run around the track as it obstructs the other riders.
A fallen rider will need to mount and pull away themselves – parents/marshalls can pick up a bike and hold it for the rider
GENERAL INFORMATION
- Please take all your litter home with you
- Please drive responsibly in and out of the venue
- Parking is limited so park with this in mind
- Dogs are welcome but MUST be kept on a lead and clean up after them
TRANSPONDERS – ALL CLASSES INCLUDING REVVIS WILL BE RUNNING TRANSPONDERS
To hire a Transponder will require a £10 CASH hire fee.
A £50 CASH Deposit is required for each transponder that is hired. In future, we will not be accepting bank cards or driving licenses.
If you have your own transponder, please bring this to signing on to ensure that we have the correct number.
Please bring the cash to signing on where we will allocate you a transponder at the same time.

Battery charging
There are no battery charging facilities on site so it is your responsibility to ensure that your battery is full charged ahead of the day.

Dogs
Dogs are allowed on site but they must be kept on a lead and cleaned up after.
Electric Ride Afternoon/Evening
This is a perfect opportunity for new riders to try out riding their Electric Dirtbike or Electric Balance Bike on a track or for a rider to get some practice ahead of the EXGP race event.

We are running a tight schedule, so please make sure you are ready for each of your races in the pitbox well ahead of time.
The Format
EXGB Classes
Practice and Qualifying
Riders will have an 8 minutes qualifying/practice session on Saturday morning. There will be 4 minutes of free practice and 4 minutes of timed practice. Qualifying times define gate choices on Saturday.
The Races
Oset 12.5
⚡ The Results for the round will be taken from the total points over the six races with the final race being the tie breaker. The top six point scorers will get awards.
⚡ Ie Race points: 1st 10pts, 2nd 9pts, 3rd 8pts, 4th 7pts, 5th 6pts, 6th 5pts, 7th 4pts, 8th 3pts, 9th 2pts, 10th 1pt
Mini E, Auto E3 and Auto E5 classes
⚡ Riders in the will have 2 point-scoring races each day with the top eight scorers qualifying for the A Final on that day, and the next 8 to the B Final.
⚡ In case of a tie for qualification, the rider with the highest race finish goes through. If the riders both have the same highest race finish the rider who beat the other in the last qualifying race goes through. If this doesn’t decide the qualifier then the rider with the fastest lap time on the last qualifying race will go through. If for any reason the above cannot decide the qualifiers then a 2 lap race off will decide who qualifies through.
⚡ Ie Race points: 1st 8pts, 2nd 7pts, 3rd 6pts, 4th 5pts, 5th 4pts, 6th 3pts, 7th 2pts, 8th 1pt
⚡ Riders score Championship points as per the below on each day, with the overall winner being the rider who has scored the most championship points from the Finals over both days. In the case of a tie the rider who finishes higher on Sunday will be awarded the higher position.
⚡ Championship Points are awarded based on a rider’s finishing position in the final on the day – The total of these points scored over the two days determines the weekend’s overall results.

⚡ Sunday replicates the Saturday minus the timed qualification for gate pick. Riders on Sunday go to the gate in the heat races in order that they finished in the Final on Saturday.
Revvi Showdown
⚡ Races will have up to 10 riders in. The Points are 1st 10pts, 2nd 9pts, 3rd 8pts, 4th 7pts, 5th 6pts 6th 5pts 7th 4pts 8th 3pts 9th 2pts 10th 1pt
⚡ Riders will get a practice and 3 races on Saturday and 3 races on Sunday.
⚡ The Results for classes with one group of riders will be taken from the total points over the six races with the final race being the tie breaker. The top six point scorers will get awards.
⚡ The Results for classes with more than one group of riders will have a final on each day. Two point scoring heats will decide the riders for the finals. The overall weekend result will be based on the points scored on the finals from both days with the Sunday final being the tie breaker. The top six overall scorers over the two days will recieve awards.
⚡ In some instances we may combine different classes. Riders will still be scored and awarded separately.
⚡ Classes with more than one group, see Riders scoring Championship points as per the below on each day, with the overall winner being the rider who has scored the most championship points from the Finals over both days. In the case of a tie the rider who finishes higher on Sunday will be awarded the higher position.

⚡ All riders receive a programme, a goody bag and a medal. The Medals be awarded at the presentation.

Numbers ** IMPORTANT**
Although we are using transponders for all classes it is still very important to ensure your riders number is clear and correct. We have quite a few duplicate numbers so please check out the Entry lists to see your what your number is. It may be that a 1 has been put in front or behind your riders number.

What to wear
EXGB Classes – Full Motocross style safety equipment must be worn.
Revvi Riders – What riders need to wear: Long trousers, race pants or jeans – Long sleeved tops – Closed shoes, preferably ankle boots but trainers as a minimum – Gloves must be worn and Full face helmets need to be worn.
VERY IMPORTANT All Riders also need to wear gloves – We will have gloves on sale at the EXGB gazebo
Catering
There will be catering on-site offering up Hot and cold drinks, breakfast baps, Chip, burgers and more…
