Final instructions for the EXGB Chicken Run at Cumbria Moto Park

We look forward to meeting you all at Cumbria here are a few pointers for the weekend. 

 

PRACTICE FRIDAY AFTERNOON 

  • We will be holding a practise session as normal on Friday from 2.00 – 6.00 PM 
  • This will operate as a pay as you go system and will be £35.00 per rider.  Please ensure that you sign on and obtain a wristband from the EXGB Tent riders will not be allowed out to practice unless they have a wristband 
 
 

Signing On 

  • Signing of for Riders and Parents will be open from 2.00pm on Friday until 6.00pm 
  • Saturday Morning from 7.30am 
  • Rider Briefing Saturday Morning 8.40 every rider and 1 parent must attend 
  • Practice to start at 9.00 am both days 

 

TRANSPONDERS 

  • To hire a Transponder will require a £10 CASH hire fee unless you have paid for hire online with your entry – please check. 
  • A £50 CASH Deposit is required for each transponder that is hired 
  • If you have your own transponder, please bring this to signing on to ensure that we have the correct number.


RIDER INFORMATION 

  • Riders Briefing will be at 8.30am, PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU ATTEND – ONE RIDER, ONE PARENT. 
  • Long hair has to be tied up and inside the helmet. 
  • Boots must be worn that cover the ankle 
  • All riders must wear googles and gloves these can be purchased from the signing on gazebo 
  • No riding in the pits  
  • Rider Numbers – please ensure that these are clearly displayed on the bike. 
  • All bikes must have chain guards 
  • Make sure your batteries are fully charged there are no charging facilities on site
 
 

TRACKSIDE/START 

  • If you wish to go trackside you will need to sign on at signing on and collect a wristband – you must be over 18. 
  • Hi-Viz must be worn at all times whilst on the track, these can be purchased at signing on for £5.00. 
  • NO phones or cameras are allowed trackside,  
  • Adults must stand back from riders on the start gate.  If an adult pushes a rider off the start, the race will be red flagged and restarted. 
  • Adults’ trackside must stay in a safe place and not run around the track as it obstructs the other riders. 
  • A fallen rider will need to mount and pull away themselves – parents/marshalls can pick up a bike and hold it for the rider 

 

EVENT UPDATES 

  • We will be using a private Whats App channel to send out all information as normal – the code will be available at the signing on tent and on the front cover of your program 

 

GENERAL INFORMATION 

  • Please take all your litter home with you 
  • Please drive responsibly in and out of the venue remember that small children are playing 
  • Parking is limited so park with this in mind 
  • Dogs are welcome but MUST be kept on a lead and ensure that you pick up your dog poo! 

 

This is a family friendly event.  Please be kind and courteous to staff, members of the public and other riders/families.  Ensure that you mind your language and behaviour around the riders and siblings.
